Your clutter can help build opportunities in our communities!

Your tax deductible donations of gently used furniture, accessories, building materials and appliances help generate revenue to fund the construction of Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County homes for low-income families in Connecticut. They also provide the local community with an opportunity to purchase items at significant savings, and protect the environment by keeping hundreds of tons of waste out of landfills.

Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County's 33rd Annual Golf Outing is Monday, September 28th!

Our silent auction goes live in three weeks, on September 18! We're lining up some amazing auction items, thanks to our very generous in-kind donors!

Here's a small preview:
- Two round-trip tickets on Avelo Airlines
- Two tickets to a 2027 show at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater
- A New England Patriots pullover
- A foursome at Great River Golf Club
- A gift certificate for up to six people at the Two Roads Golf Club simulator

You don’t need to attend the Golf Outing to bid or win. If you can’t join us in person, proxy bidding can also be arranged for the live auction.

Safety starts at home—and in our neighborhoods!

Keeping our Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County families safe is a top priority. A big thank you to the Fairfield Police Department and Officers Jenna and Brian for hosting an informative neighborhood safety workshop for our new Fairfield families!

The Sacred Heart University Volunteer Programs & Service Learning team got to work at our Jane Street home yesterday, tearing up flooring and removing siding to help prepare the house for its next Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County family. It was a hard-working, hands-on day with plenty of demolition, and they got a lot accomplished!

We’re grateful to SHU for continuing to show up for Habitat CFC and for our community. Thank you for giving your time and energy to help us build homes, communities and hope for local families throughout Coastal Fairfield County!

Our Core Construction Volunteers are used to early mornings, but today they rose extra-early to gather for a special volunteer appreciation breakfast!

It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate this dedicated group and thank them for the incredible amount of time, skill and hard work they contribute to Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County. Since the start of 2026, our Core Construction Volunteers have donated nearly 3,500 hours helping to build homes for local families! They are truly an essential part of our mission, and we are so grateful for all they do!

It's so wonderful when our staff has an opportunity to get together to share stories and celebrate achievements. This gathering was a little bittersweet, however, as it was COO Kevin Moore's last day at Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County.

We thank Kevin for his many years of friendship and dedication to Habitat CFC and wish him all the best as he begins the next chapter of his Habitat for Humanity service. We will miss you, Kevin!

The Genworth team braved the humidity to help “recycle” our Jane Street house, getting it ready for its next Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County!

The team tackled some serious demolition, tearing out the kitchen, removing siding, pulling up flooring and more. It was hard work for sure, but all for a great cause—and it looks like they managed to have some fun along the way!
