Hey everyone! This lady -- Sue Haslett -- is missing from her home north of Gaar Corner. Please call Central Dispatch if you know anything concerning her whereabouts.

Law-enforcement, first responders searching for missing county resident

Law-enforcement officers and first responders are currently searching for a missing Pontotoc County resident.
Sheriff Arnold Scott said a full-scale search is underway for 81-year-old Glenda Sue Haslett. Scott said his office was called to do a wellness check at Haslett's residence 3 miles north of Gaar Corner and she was not there.
He said Haslett's and vehicle belongings are still at the home, and there were dogs inside with no food or water. Scott said a neighbor last saw Haslett Friday, and it appeared from evidence at the home that she hadn't taken her medication since Wednesday.
Haslett, who goes by "Sue," is 5'5" tall and weighs 120 pounds. If anyone knows her whereabouts, they are asked to call Central Dispatch at (580) 332-4466.
Sheriff's deputies, Chickasaw Lighthorse Search and Rescue, Pontotoc County Emergency Management, Chickasaw Nation Emergency Management and firefighters from Vanoss and Oil Center are currently on the scene searching for Haslett.
They are on foot, riding horses and ATVs, and using drones in the search.

There have been quite a few posts which have been sent to us about s*x offenders residing in Stratford. We have searched these individuals and all of which showing a Stratford address, have addresses out of town in rural parts in the county (Garvin and Pontotoc). We currently have zero s*x offenders residing in town limits. We want to thank everyone who has sent these posts to us. It doesn’t hurt to double check to make sure someone hasn’t slipped through the cracks of the system.

**UPDATE**
Howard is still at large. The felony warrants are still active. If you know his whereabouts, you may contact us directly aty the numbers below or the Tip Line at 405-764-2217.

McClain County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies are around 170th and Blanton View in McClain County regarding an attempted burglary. They are currently searching the area for Bobby Kevin Howard, Jr., age 34. He was last seen on foot, heading north from that area. He is described as a white male, 6’0” tall, 210 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and white ball cap turned backwards.

Please refrain from entering the area. Howard has numerous felony warrants and should be considered dangerous. If seen, do not attempt to contact, please call the McClain County Sheriff’s Office at 405-527-4600 or call 911.
