Trash and recycling will be on a one day delay for the week of Memorial Day (May 26 - 30). If your pick up is usually Tuesday, it will be on Wednesday this week; if it is usually Wednesday, it will be on Thursday this week, etc. Please have your bins curbside by 7:00am and place them a minimum of 3 feet apart so that the arm of the truck has room to lift them. Thank you for your cooperation!

STRATHAM MEMORIAL DAY PARADE CANCELLED. CEREMONY WILL TAKE PLACE AT 1:30 AT SHP.
Due to the muddy field and unsafe drop off conditions along Jack Rabbit Lane, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Stratham Memorial Day Parade today, May 25. 2026. The ceremony will go on as planned at Stratham Hill Park at 1:30pm. The Stratham Fire Department ceremony will also still take place at the Stratham Fire Station at 12pm.

Due to the Memorial Day holiday, curbside trash and recycling pickup will be delayed by one day next week.

Please have all items curbside by 7:00 AM on your delayed pickup day.

In honor of Earth Day, Stratham’s Annual Town-Wide Clean-up Day is Saturday April 25, 2026, from 8am – 12pm. Pick up materials at Stratham Hill Park’s front pavilion starting at 8am. Come meet members of the Conservation Commission and enjoy some light refreshments to fuel yourself for cleaning up your street and/or neighborhood. Have plans on Saturday but still want to clean up? Pick up a bag Saturday from 8-12 at SHP and clean up at your leisure until Monday morning 7am! Also, we have bags in the Building & Planning Department if you want to pick up today, Friday, April 24.

Town wide bag pick up will be done by DPW on Monday, April 27, 2026.

Stratham Historical Society's 35th Annual Spring Appraisal Day
Sunday, April 12 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the Morgera Room at the Stratham Firehouse.
The Stratham Historical Society is pleased to host its 35th Annual Spring Appraisal Day, our beloved homespun version of Antiques Roadshow. This popular event draws SHS members, Stratham residents, and friends from neighboring communities who bring antiques, heirlooms, and unique artifacts to learn more about their history and estimated value.
Expert verbal appraisals will be provided by Dan Olmstead of Olmstead Antiques in Newfields and Greg Pruitt and Lionel Loveless of Route 1 Antiques in Hampton Falls. Appraisers are also happy to review photographs of large furniture or oversized items.
As one of SHS’s key fundraisers, the event features tiered pricing: $5 for one item, $8 for two, $12 for three, $15 for four, and $18 for five.
We hope you’ll join us for this always‑enjoyable community tradition.
