📢PROJECT NEWS📢 | I-70 Seibert-Stratton Roadway Improvements

🗺WHERE? I-70 to the east and west of Seibert (Mile Points 401 to 407), as well as along CO 57 in Stratton, between I-70 and US 24

🚜WHAT? Beginning early April, crews will replace deteriorated concrete panels and aging asphalt, complete bridge rehabilitation work and install new concrete overlay near Seibert. Other improvements will include guardrail replacement, new delineators, updated roadway signage and fresh pavement striping.

On CO 57 near Stratton, the roadway will be milled and paved, with additional curb and gutter work, new signage installation and pavement striping.

⚠️TRAVEL IMPACTS: I-70 will shift to a 24/7 head-to-head configuration east and west of Seibert. Motorists can expect alternating lane closures along CO 57, as well as intermittent ramp closures with detours and traffic shifts.

The Town of Stratton will finish paving in Town, Thursday, March 26th, on Main Street from Colorado Avenue to Wyoming Avenue. Please do not park on these streets. We appreciate your cooperation. Thank you!

Due to mechanical & weather issues, the Town of Stratton paving project scheduled for Monday, March 23, 2026 will be moved to Tuesday, March 24, 2026 (Illinois Ave. from Main St to 4th St and 2nd St from Arkansas Ave to Illinois Ave.)
Wednesday, March 25, 2026 paving will be Main St. from Colorado Ave. to Wyoming Ave., 2nd St. from Colorado Ave. to Nebraska Ave., 3rd St. and Illinois Ave to New York Ave. and Colorado Ave. to Nebraska Ave. Possible paving on Iowa Ave. from 5th to 6th St. Please have all vehicles off these streets & avenues. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
