The officers and members of the Strausstown Volunteer Fire Company extend our deepest condolences to the members of Company 32, Walnuttown Fire Company, and to the families, friends, and fellow firefighters of those affected.

The Berks County fire service has suffered a tremendous loss with the passing of Fire Chief Jeff Buck and Assistant Fire Chief Rob Shick in the line of duty. Their dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving their community will never be forgotten.

Today we had five of our members complete the field portion of their S-130 Wildland Fire Training. They are now able to join our Wardens Crew and fight wildland fires throughout PA. Thanks to District 18 for hosting this training.

SNOW EMERGENCY will be in effect from Sunday Feb 22nd at Noon, until Monday Feb 23 at 3 PM.

Cars parked along Emergency Snow Routes which are, Main Street and East Ave, need to be moved by Noon, Sunday Feb 22nd.
**Remaining parked in a Snow Emergency Route can lead to your vehicle being ticketed and towed at the Owners expense.

Please share this with your neighbors, especially those that may not have access to social media or new neighbors in the Community.
