Strawn water system had a major leak over the weekend between Strawn and Desdemona. This has caused a drop in available supply. Customers on the line between Strawn and Desdmona will see a significant drop in pressure. We need everyone on Strawn's water system to conserve for the next 2 days while we build up our supply of water. Please be mindful of your usage. Customers in Strawn, north of Strawn and east of Strawn will not notice any drop in pressure but we need them to conserve while we build up the supply in Desdemona. Thank you for your efforts.

Big thank you to the Chamber of Commerce for getting the ball rolling and doing some much needed upgrades to the pavilion. Thanks to the Development Corporation of Strawn, Strawn Area Chamber of Commerce and Strawn City Council for agreeing to split the cost! Our Pavilion was built many years ago through donated labor, material and funds. The community is keeping up the tradition!
