I am sorry it took so long to get to this web page. I want to say thank you to all that helped with our campaign. Although not happy with the final results it was a great run. I am truly blessed with all the special friends that came out both old and new. I wish there were words to express my gratitude to everyone. The time and commitment that so many people gave is overwhelming. I would have never thought that so many people would have come out to help carry our message of change that is so badly needed. This race was never about me. I want ask that everyone please take the time to get involved. Getting involved by spending a few minutes to read about candidates and how they act.

One thing I think is very important is that we pay attention to our schools. The IEA (Illinois Education Association) did endorse our race and I feel that they are an important part of fixing our school system. accepted their support because I believe in their positions whole heartily. For so long the state legislators ignored the IEA concerns and our schools have gotten worse. I ask we all stand with the IEA to bring common sense change to our school system. In order to do the right thing we need to sit with all parties and discuss all options.

I will continue to hope and pray that politics in Illinois move to a better place.
