Our services include a day program, sheltered workshop, community employment, residential services through our five group homes, and a Section 8-eligible apartments. Begun in 1965 by a group of community leaders and family members, Streator Unlimited, Inc. has grown to offer vocational training and residential services in five locations within the Streator Area. is committed to enriching the lives

of adults with disabilities by teaching skills that will enable them to reach their fullest potential, live as independently as possible and become integrated into the community.

From the Illinois Division of Developmental Disabilities: SURVEY OPPORTUNITY
UIC Institute on Disability and Human Development is conducting a research study survey for adults with IDD and their family members to learn what helps them thrive. If you are a family caregiver of an adult person with IDD age 40 years and older, you may sign up. There is a possible monetary incentive for completion of the research survey. The caregivers surveyed will be asked to do the following:

Complete an online survey about yourself

You will complete the same survey again after a week

The survey can be completed at any pace, in any location
