And just like that… Summer 2026 is a wrap!

It’s hard to believe another pool season has come and gone. Thank you to everyone who spent part of your summer with us — whether you were here every day, came for swim lessons, celebrated a birthday, cooled off after a long day, or simply stopped by for a little sunshine and fun. You made this summer one to remember! ❤️

A very special THANK YOU to our amazing lifeguards! They worked hard all summer long to keep our swimmers safe, welcomed everyone with a smile, and helped make the pool the fun place we all love. We are incredibly grateful for each one of them!

Tomorrow, our teachers head back to school, and the kids follow on Thursday. We wish all of our students, teachers, and families a wonderful, safe, and successful school year!

We will miss seeing all of you around the pool, but we’ll be counting down until we can do it all over again!

🌧️☔ Plot Twist... Mother Nature hit the "pause" button.

⏰ Delayed Opening: We'll be opening at 3:00 PM today.

🤞 Hopefully, the rain will be finished by then, and we'll be ready for some sunshine, splashing, and fun!

Sunday Spotlight: Audrey Hoover
Meet Audrey Hoover. Audrey is a senior at Depew High School. She is a member of Depew FFA, plays basketball, and recently attended the 52nd Cadet Lawman Academy. Some of her favorite things are sushi, pickle-cicles, chocolate ice cream, and cats. Her favorite song is Navigating by Twenty One Pilots, her go-to movie is Sherlock Holmes, and her favorite vacation spot is the Great Lakes.
Audrey became a lifeguard to learn a better leadership role and to take care of people. Her favorite thing about being a lifeguard is seeing everyone so happy.
Here are some fun facts about Audrey:
Pineapple on pizza? NO!
Early Bird or Night Owl? Night Owl.
Favorite Pool Game? Marco Polo.
What superpower would you choose? Teleportation.
Summer isn't complete without...? Sleeping in!
The best pool day includes...? Sun and a light breeze.
If I weren't a lifeguard, I'd be...? Super pale.
One thing that always makes me smile is...? Being with the people I care about.

To Our Valued Pool Patrons and Community,

We wanted to take a moment to explain why we made the difficult decision to close the pool yesterday due to the weather.

The safety of our guests and staff is always our number one priority. Our weather safety policy requires that if we see lightning or hear thunder, we immediately check the weather radar. If lightning is detected within a 10-mile radius, we must clear the pool and deck area for a minimum of 30 minutes. If additional lightning is seen or thunder is heard during that waiting period, the 30-minute clock starts over.

Yesterday, after following these safety procedures, it became clear that by the time the required waiting period ended, it would have been nearly closing time. While we know this was disappointing, we felt it was the safest and most responsible decision.

Please know that we always do our very best to remain open whenever it is safe to do so. We understand that unexpected closures can be frustrating, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support. We truly appreciate our wonderful community and hope this doesn't keep you from coming back to enjoy the pool with us. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Looks like a rain out for us today. Due to lightning and more rain heading our way, we will be closed for the rest day. There will not be any adult exercise this evening. See you all tomorrow!

Sunday Spotlight: Mason Eversole
Mason is a junior at Stroud High School. He is involved in archery, plays basketball, and likes to hunt and fish. Some of his favorites include steak, strawberry ice cream, Kit-Kats, the color green, and his favorite vacation spot is Mexico. His favorite song is Good Time by Alan Jackson, and his favorite movie is Dumb and Dumber. Mason says he became a lifeguard because he loves swimming and keeping people safe. He says everyone should remember the "No Running!" Rule and interacting with the kids is his favorite part of the job.
