Congratulations to Bruce Stewart on his election tonight as the new Chairman of the Monroe County Republican Committee.
Matt Deegan, Jaquelyn Leonard have accepted the positions of Vice Chairman and Brad Strasser has accepted the position of Treasurer!

Join us this Saturday June 16th for a great family fun Bike Ride! The ride will take you through the campus of ESU and is perfect for kids! The Pocono Bike Company Will be there checking kids bikes and helmets, and the Pocono Bike club will have a skills course set up for young riders!

The Church of Saint Luke is raising money by hosting Lenten dinners every Friday during Lent for the Pocket Park, planned to be constructed on Quaker Alley at Sixth Street in downtown Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. This idea was first proposed by our county commissioners but has taken new life by our community. Your support will build a better downtown that all will appreciate.

The Arctic cold spell that has gripped much of the United States has found many people taking extra care to help homeless people find food and shelter. That effort is needed year round.

Thanks so much to everyone who supported this campaign!

It was hard fought .. unfortunately the results were not in our candidates favor.

Knowing Bruce, Brad, Cindy and Richard we know they will continue to do what their constituents elected them to do until the end of their term. Thank you to our four incumbent candidates for their dedication to our school district, and to their service to our community!

BLAKE, PIERCE, STRASSER and STEWART have worked hard to keep their promises to their constituents and the community. They have worked to be fiscally responsible while delivering quality affordable education to our students. They have worked closely with state legislators to increase funding $8.9 million over their four year tenure. They have saved money and voted NO on tax increases. They have put policies in place that have improved the transparency and accountability of the district. They have proposed a way to decrease taxes and relieve the pressure on our overburdened tax payers.

BLAKE, PIERCE, STRASSER and STEWART have made difficult decisions and remained steadfast in their commitment to the students and their education. Through fiscal discipline, these incumbents have put an end to massive teacher furloughs, increased staff at the elementary level and in the high school.

BLAKE, PIERCE, STRASSER and STEWART have incorporated and improved technology throughout the district. Increase extra curricular options for our kids, improved consistency in programming, increased access to the guidance counselors for mental health and career counseling. These candidates have also worked to decrease rising class sizes by hiring elementary teachers.

BLAKE, PIERCE, STRASSER and STEWART have kept the promises made to their constituents 4 years ago, and they will continue to do so.
