MCSO SEARCHING FOR 9-YEAR OLD CITRUS GROVE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENT WHO DID NOT RETURN HOME FROM SCHOOL

Multiple sheriff’s units, including aviation, SRO deputies, detectives, and road patrol deputies are searching for a 9-year old Citrus Grove Elementary School student who did not return home from school today. The mother of 9-year old Shirley Pluta says the child did not get off of the school bus in the community of Cobblestone/Stuart West in Palm City. Units are searching the area of the school and the community where the child lives.

Shirley was last seen wearing a pink sweater, pink pants and black shoes. If you have any information about Shirley Pluta, please call 911.
