SKYS ARE CLEARING AND WE WILL CONTINUE WITH UPDATED START TIME. FIGHTS WILL TAKE PLACE ON S. 2ND STREET, ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE LAWBAUGH CITY PARK.

UPDATE: Construction activity is now expected to begin on Wednesday, May 20, rather than May 22 as originally anticipated.

City of Stuart Street Improvements Begin May 20

Please note this is a separate project from the P28/Wagon Road closure.

Beginning Friday, May 20, the City of Stuart will have temporary street closures and access restrictions in several locations as part of the 2026 Street Improvement Project.

Affected areas include:
• S. Division Street (near S. 2nd to S. 3rd)
• S. 7th Street (east of McDonald’s)
• N. 6th Street (east of Division)
• N. Harlan Street (repair work between N. 2nd & N. 4th)
• N. 2nd / N. 4th westbound pavement repair
• Sports Complex entrance roads
• NE 5th Street (Division to Fremont)

See attached map for highlighted work areas.

Please plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time.
