PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Town of Stuart is experiencing an internet service outage at the Town Office this morning. Because our phone system runs on that connection, the Town Office phone line (276-694-3811) is temporarily unable to receive calls, and responses to email will be delayed until service is restored. Service is expected to be restored between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon today.

If you have an emergency, please call the Town's emergency line at 276-692-6351.

For non-emergency assistance in the meantime, please visit the Town Office in person at 100 Patrick Avenue.

We will post an update once service is restored. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

UPDATE: Community Coordinator applications are now closed.

The application period for the Town of Stuart's Community Coordinator position closed at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31. We are no longer accepting applications.

PATRICK COUNTY AGRICULTURAL FAIR: ENTRY DROP-OFF AT THE STUART FARMERS MARKET

The Patrick County Agricultural Fair will be at the Stuart Farmers Market on Friday, August 21 and Friday, August 28 for residents to submit entry items for this year's fair.

Stop by 320 Chestnut Street during regular market hours, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., to drop off your entries.

Be sure to swing by the Market tomorrow from 8 am - 12pm to grab some great local produce, handmade items and baked goods. While your there, be sure to stop by The Landmark Center's table and get your blood pressure checked for free! Also the PC Library will be doing a children's book reading at 10 am .

Submitting an application alone does not hold your space. Your spot is ONLY SECURED once both your application and payment are received.

Be sure to come out to the Stuart Farmers Market Tomorrow from 8am- 12pm . On top of the awesome vendors we normally have at the market , tomorrow we will be joined by some very special guests. The 4-H Rise & Shine Market will also be set up tomorrow with several of our local youth entrepreneurs looking to sell things that they have made. So be sure to come out and support all our great vendors as well as these youth and show them your support in their ventures !

The Town of Stuart is hiring a full-time Community Coordinator to lead our festivals, events, and community programs. Starting salary $49,000 (negotiable based on experience) with Town-paid health insurance, retirement, and paid leave.
