🏅🚴‍♀️ Sturgeon Bay Students Shine at the 15th Annual Goody Event! 🚴‍♂️🏅

Our students recently attended the 15th Annual Goody Event in Pulaski, joining 16 schools from across the region, including three schools from Door County.

A total of 17 Sturgeon Bay students participated, with each special education student paired with a regular education student mentor. These partnerships exemplified teamwork, encouragement, and friendship throughout the day.

With beautiful weather on their side, students ran and walked several miles before hopping on their bicycles or trikes to complete additional miles and cross the finish line. At the conclusion of the event, each participant was awarded a medal by their mentor—a special moment celebrating their hard work and accomplishments.

The day wrapped up with a well-deserved pizza lunch and plenty of smiles.

We are incredibly proud of our students and mentors for representing Sturgeon Bay so well. We’re already looking forward to next year’s Goody Event! 💙💛

We're excited to announce an opening for a 3rd Grade Teacher at Sunrise Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year!

We're looking for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about helping students learn, grow, and succeed. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with students and families, collaborate with colleagues, and create an engaging classroom environment that inspires lifelong learning.

At Sturgeon Bay Schools, we value teamwork, innovation, and supporting staff as they continue to grow their strengths and expertise. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to live and work in beautiful Door County, where outstanding schools meet an exceptional quality of life.

A few weeks ago, Sawyer Elementary School wrapped up its Read-A-Thon with a fun reward for some of our top readers!

The highest readers from each grade level earned the opportunity to pie Principal DeVillers—and they certainly made the most of it! 🎉🥧
