These mittens were mistakenly left behind at the Sturgeon Bay equipment facility last winter. I took them home and washed them and am posting this in the hopes of getting them back to their owner. They are nice mittens. Call the Neighbor to Neighbor office to claim them 920.743.7800.

7500 letters have been brought to the Sunshine House for them to address and mail. This is a massive undertaking to prepare for this mailing. 21 volunteers put in 125.75 volunteer hours in July and August to get the mailing ready to take over to the Sunshine House. Thanks to Lawrence, Dixie, Terri, Mark, Jill, Claudette, Lisa, Donna and her staff, Kathy, Ginny, Jim, Beverly, Mary and her husband, Sue, Peggy, Ken, Karen. Your hard work is so very appreciated! Thank you!!!!

07/29/2021

All the Stay-At-Home Ball letters are currently out with volunteers, being folded. As those return, we move onto the final stage of the mailing - stuffing the envelopes and sealing. 69 pieces are completely done out of 7500. Within a week or so, these should all be ready to be taken to the Sunshine House to be addressed and sent out. They will hopefully be out by mid-August or so. We are so thankful to all the volunteers who have helped thus far: Lawrence, Dixie, Terri, Mark, Jill, Claudette, Lisa, Beverly, Kathie, Ginny, Jim, and Mary. We could not do this without all your help. We are so thankful! Keep up the good work!

We have received a donation of Ensure. If you are in need, call the office at 920.743.7800. If I don't answer the phone, please leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I am able.

Congratulations to the Neighbor to Neighbor Medical Equipment Maintenance Team, consisting of Gary Bellin, Mike Barry, Joe McMahon, Lawrence Tanck, and Karen Bellin, who was presented with the "Volunteer Star Award" at the N2N annual meeting last night. These individuals work together as a team to do regular equipment maintenance, inspecting equipment and assessing safety of pieces, assembling donated and purchased equipment, cleaning the large pieces like hospital beds and lift chairs when returned to the equipment facility. They perform a vital service for the medical equipment loan program and do it quietly behind the scenes. Thanks so much for all you do for N2N!

Partner Interview with Neighbor to Neighbor

My first live. Please bear with me. My allergies are horrendous today. I was doing all I could to not sneeze, cough, or rub my eyes. Just to clarify: the incontinence products that we have are in sizes small to XXL, for both women and men.

Thanks so much to Lawrence, Dixie, Terri, Mark, Jill, Claudette, Lisa, Beverly, and Donna for working on the Stay-At-Home Ball mailing. We still have a number of tasks to do to complete this mailing. If you want to join these individuals in helping with this bulk mailing, contact me at the Neighbor to Neighbor office 920.743.7800, by email at [email protected], or via Facebook. We would love to have you join us!

Due to the toll Covid-19 has taken on our local businesses and restaurants and the changes we would have to make to Rib Fest to host a safe event, the Neighbor to Neighbor Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel Rib Fest 2021. Our organization wants the community and our local businesses and restaurants to have time to heal from the effects of this global pandemic and we encourage everyone to shop local and to support the local businesses and restaurants throughout this recovery period. Rib Fest 2022 is scheduled for Saturday, November 5, 2022 at The Lodge at Leathem Smith. Please mark your calendars!

You people are godsends! Thanks so much for all your help!!
