The nutrition program at the ADRC of Door County is looking to freshen things up and we need your help. Have you ever dreamt of being a taste tester, now is your chance! We are looking for some of our meal site participants to enjoy sampling some new food items that we are going to whip up in our Sturgeon Bay kitchen! You may be asked to try a range of food such as a side dish, entrée or desert.
If you have any family recipes or even just your favorite one and would like to see it added to our menu, please share it with us. Tasters will be asked to complete a short questionnaire about what you sampled.
Please send recipes to Jenny Fitzgerald, Assistant ADRC

November is here and it usually brings with it a feeling of excitement for gatherings with friends and family and good food, but this holiday season may instead feel more lonely and isolating than we're used to. The ADRC director, Jake Erickson, encourages all of us to dig deep for our many blessings, as showing gratitude for what we have is more important as ever. Consider keeping a gratitude journal to keep track of what makes you grateful on a daily basis, or better yet, reach out to someone who has touched your life and let them know that you are grateful for them.
