A BURN BAN is in effect until further notice in both the Town and Village of Egg Harbor. No burn permits will be issued at this time. Anyone with an annual permit is suspended until the ban in lifted.

The Egg Harbor Fire Department strongly urges the community to refrain from all burning, including campfires at this time.

August 29th, is approaching fast for the Egg Harbor Fire Department annual FUNdraiser and Car Show at Rustic Timbers Door County Camping. We will be serving WALKING TACO'S , HOT DOG'S and grilled DOOR COUNTY SWEET CORN. More details to come. Information will be announced on our page and on Let’s Go Door County.

Tuesday evening we honed in our skills on the use of Fire Hydrants, all of water is hauled to our fires by tenders but occasionally we respond to areas that have Hydrants. The Village of Egg Harbor has a dry hydrant system which means we need to fill the system when we want to use it. We would like to Thank our Mutual Aid Partners Sister Bay/Liberty Grove Fire Dept for bringing their Hose Truck down and charging our Hydrant system, and training with us.

The Egg Harbor Fire Department will not be issuing burn permits today, May 4, 2026 due to the wind conditions.

We strongly advise against ALL burning today.
