Rinnai’s SENSEI® RX Series condensing tankless water heaters are Energy Star certified and have an amazing UEF of 0.98 on many of its models! This is the highest UEF in the industry.

Coupled with one of the best warranties for water heaters available, including 15 years on the heat exchanger and 5 years labour, our SENSEI® RX Series is one reason why more homeowners choose Rinnai than any other tankless water heater brand.

The UEF (Uniform Energy Factor) calculation is based on the percentage of energy used by the water heater that is turned into hot water. The higher the UEF value is, the more efficient the water heater. In this case, 98% means that 98 cents out of every dollar spent on energy is converted to hot water. Very little energy is wasted in the process. This saves energy and is more sustainable.
