Shout out to the South Dakota Army National Guard’s newest Soldier Manuelle Jaramillo. The first time Manny told me he was joining the Guard was when he was an 8th grader. He turned 17 we started the paperwork, now Manny Enlisted as a Carpentry and Masonry Specialist with Det 1, 842nd Engineer Company. Not only did Manny achieve his goal, he grabbed a 20K bonus for Enlisting. Congrats Manny! You’re going to do great things as a Soldier in the SDARNG, welcome to the team!
