How has COVID19 impacted Research?
The American Cancer Society is the largest non-governmental funder of cancer research
• $4.9 billion since 1946
• 49 Nobel Prize winners
• Nearly half of the researchers we fund have reported that COVID19 has disrupted their work
Cancer hasn’t stopped and neither have our researchers. Like many of us, they are learning to work from home, away from their labs they are reviewing past data, connecting with colleagues and helping us understand how COVID19 is impacting cancer care
The funds you raise will help us keep their important work moving forward
• No single nongovernmental, not-for-profit organization in the US has invested more to find the causes and cures of cancer than the American Cancer Society (ACS). In fact, we've helped make possible almost every major cancer research breakthrough since 1946.

• Did you know that ACS has funded 49 Nobel Prize winners? With your help, we have made tremendous discoveries but they could not have done it alone. You helped us raise the money they needed.
