The historic Klinkert hotel opened its doors in 1910 by Ernst Klinkert. The two story red brick exterior building includes three corner bartizans with lookouts supported by limestone corbels. The interior includes mosaic floors, custom-designed stained glass windows, twelve feet long back bar mirror, press-patterned tin ceiling, mission oak woodwork and much more. Originally, the hotel consisted o

f a bar room, barbershop, restaurant, women's parlor and "modern" hotel rooms on the second floor. Today, the hotel is privately owned and being restored to its former glamour. Viewing is available with appointment only.
