One of six regions of the Arkansas Parks, Heritage and Tourism, Arkansas Delta Byways (ADB) encompasses 15 counties of Eastern Arkansas. It includes 2 National Scenic Byways, 20 Delta Destinations (including our own Museum of the Arkansas Grand Prairie), 12 State Parks, and 24 other museum/heritage attractions. President Garrhett Wilbourn called yesterday’s meeting to order, and Rotarian David Leech shared announcements.

Rotarian Jane Ferguson introduced guest speaker Dr. Megan Slocum Duncan, Executive Director of Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators. AAEA is a nonprofit statewide organization that supports 3,900 Arkansas school leaders through professional development, advocacy, leadership training, and educational resources.

A Stuttgart native, Dr. Duncan has more than 20 years of experience in public education. She has served as a teacher, principal, superintendent, Assistant Commissioner of Education at the Arkansas Department of Education, and associate and deputy superintendent. Dr. Duncan is recognized for her leadership in curriculum, instruction, and educational administration.
