May Township

May Township Established in April 1855. The township was named May in honor of Captain May, an American officer, who fell in the battle of Palo Alto.

Good morning everyone! All roads are drifting and white out conditions at times in open areas. Stay home if possible!

Went out at 4 this morning. North/ South roads are drifting bad. We are going to stay out until 9 and then wait for the wind to lay down and go out again around 3. The weather station on the radio says wind gust of up to 35 mile an hour this morning, but then it’s supposed to die down this afternoon. Stay home if possible. Have a good day.

They will be seal coating roads tomorrow and possibly Monday in the township: Baseline, Todd, Morgan and Mazy.

Van Orin road between St. Mary’s and Todd will be closed for most of the day. Starting at 6:00 am.

Sublette from Van Orin to Rockyford
Mazy Road from Cornwell’s to curve
