After 34 years of dedicated service, Operations Captain Kevin Lee has retired from the Ramapo Police Department. Kevin began his career with RPD in 1992 and served in numerous assignments and leadership positions before becoming Operations Captain. Throughout his career, he earned the respect of his coworkers through his knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to the community he grew up in and served for more than three decades. We thank Captain Lee for his many years of service and wish Kevin and his family a long, healthy, and happy retirement. Congratulations, Captain Lee!

We had a very special visitor stop by the Ramapo Police Department today — and he came dressed and ready for duty!

PO Wassner had the pleasure of giving this young future officer a tour of the department, checking out a patrol vehicle, and showing him a little bit of what it’s like to be a Ramapo Police Officer.

Judging by the uniform — complete with the hat, badge, and sergeant stripes — he may already be looking to take over! 😄

It’s always a pleasure to spend time with the youngest members of our community and help create positive memories with law enforcement.
