Join STAR Haven for a Charity Car Wash event on Saturday, September 7th and 21st, 2024, between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm.

Join us for a charitable car wash and meet our mission-driven team. Visit us in the parking lot of Advance Auto at 1522 North Main Street Suffolk, VA 23434.

We are excited to support all the stars in our community!

Every donation helps us further our goal of providing essential support to the homeless community, enabling them to not only survive but thrive in life!

We thrive even in the rain! Suffolk National Night Out was a blast! Star Haven attended the 2024 Suffolk National Night Out along with other community partners such as Suffolk Virginia Sheriff's Office , Virginia Legal Aid Society , Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority, Virginia Organizing, City of Suffolk Department of Fire & Rescue, and BridgetheGap Outreach Center !

Prizes were given out to the community and we even challenged the big "Kids" with a game of co****le!

STAR Haven was honored by Spectrum, a division of Charter Communications, for their work in the Suffolk community on Friday, July 26. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit was awarded $5,000 as part of the broadband and cable company’s Spectrum Employee Community Grant Program. The grant is part of the company....

Gayle is a very hardworking woman and very dedicated to helping others succeed in life. She is a devoted wife, mother and community advocate for those who have experienced or experiencing homelessness.

It's all about partnerships! Star Haven met with the wonderful Ben with City of Suffolk Department of Fire & Rescue .

Discussions of the homeless, mental health and much needed resources for that population was the topic of the day.

Together we can make a bigger difference in the lives of others. We can build stronger communities and restore hope one person at a time.

Today was the 3rd and final day to visit The Innovative Housing Showcase at the National Mall in Washington DC. This showcase is a public event to raise awareness of innovative and affordable housing designs and technologies that have the potential to increase housing supply, lower the cost of construction, increase energy efficiency and resilience, and reduce housing expenses for owners and renters.
