Discussion of the use of Flock by PD around Illinois continue to be a hot topic. Sugar Grove Chief explained what a critical resource they are especially when staff is low to gather information for crime at this weeks Village board meeting.
The use of Flock in Montgomery led to the apprehension of car thieves where shots were fired.
If we are willing to undress at an airport and allow our bags to be immediately searched and X-ray to get to the beach , a license plate reader is a stretch to be worrying about.

Since I rely on the PD to protect my family on a daily basis, I also trust their judgement in their request for Flock here in SG.

Bliss Woods Nature walk in October

Get your steps in during these invigorating naturalist-led hikes. This monthly program is designed for those who like active hiking — all year long. We visit different preserves, each month. The naturalist will stop occasionally to interpret the ecology of the preserve as we walk — but the main goal is to cover 3-5 miles at a pace of about 3 miles/hour. Ages 18 and above.

“Hard work pays off!”
Chris the Village inspector has spent 7 long years giving violations to the defunked run down drug and unsavory practices Hotel that was located next to our Village cafe. Yesterday started the demolition of this run down crime infested hot spot!!

Thank you to Chris & everyone involved at the Village level working double time in our town. 😎
