Senior Lunch is next week!

ATTENTION SUGAR GROVE SENIORS!
You’re invited to our next free senior lunch on Tuesday, August 25th. Boneless BBQ pork chops and mashed potatoes from Fireside Grill will be served. The lunch will at the Sugar Grove Community Building beginning at noon. Lunch is free for Sugar Grove seniors; however, YOU MUST RSVP to Julie Walker at (630) 999-4000 by Friday, August 21st. Help Keep Del Krieghbaum's Legacy Alive

Some people leave behind memories. Others leave behind a community forever changed.

Delmar "Del" Krieghbaum devoted nearly a century to serving Sugar Grove. As a founding member of the Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department, he spent more than 50 years protecting his neighbors. He also gave countless hours to the Village Board, the Lions Club, the Kane County Fire Chiefs' Association, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Sugar Grove Historical Society, always working to make our community stronger.

This year's Run to Remember 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, September 19, 2026, honors Del's extraordinary life of service.

To celebrate the legacy he leaves behind, Del's family has chosen the Sugar Grove Historical Society as the event's charitable partner, a fitting tribute to someone who believed our community's history should never be forgotten.

Every donation makes a difference. Your gift helps preserve the stories, photographs, artifacts, and history of the people who built Sugar Grove and inspires future generations to remember where they came from.
