Traffic Alert for Thursday, September 3, 2026: IDOT (Illinois Department of Transportation) will replace a large steel beam on the U.S. 30/Rt. 56 bridge over Sugar Grove Parkway (Rt. 47). All northbound lanes will be closed on Rt. 47 near the bridge, with traffic being diverted onto Rt. 56 to Galena Blvd (State's established and marked detour plan)
EXPECT TRAFFIC DELAYS FROM 9:30 AM TO 4:30 PM during the beam replacement this Thursday, September 3.

Sugar Grove and neighboring jurisdictions are experiencing vehicle burglaries. SG vehicles entered overnight were unlocked. Please lock your vehicles and don’t be a victim.
