We won the primary because people across Kane County believed in experience, leadership, and a vision for moving public safety forward. The general election will require us to expand voter outreach, strengthen our campaign operations, and continue building momentum countywide. That takes resources and I’m personally asking for your help today.

If you’ve ever considered supporting this campaign, now is the time. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to power the next phase of this race and continue building a campaign rooted in integrity, professionalism, and service to our community.

Whether it’s $10, $25, or $100, every dollar helps us move closer to victory in November. Together, we have the opportunity to make history. Please consider contributing today:

Show your support with a contribution.

Today, we were able to show our commitment to Special Olympics for “Cop on a Rooftop” and our support to these incredible athletes. None of it would have been possible without the amazing dedication of our volunteers, community members, donors, and first responders across Kane County.

We even had a special visit from some preschoolers who absolutely made our day with their smiles, excitement, and support!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support!

Thank you to the Geneva Girl Scouts for the opportunity to come and speak about my journey and career as a woman in law enforcement last week at your meeting. It was such a privilege to spend time with such bright, curious, and inspiring young leaders. Sharing my experiences, and hopefully encouraging them to pursue their goals with confidence, was incredibly meaningful. Thank you for having such thought-provoking questions ready for me!

Keep asking those tough questions, stay curious, and never be afraid to lead. The future is in great hands with you ladies. 💚

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms and to those who step into that role with love, strength, and dedication every day. Today we recognize the women who nurture, guide, protect, and support not only their own families, but our entire community. Whether by birth, choice, or circumstance, your impact is powerful and lasting.

Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the lessons you teach, and the love you give so freely. Our communities are stronger because of you. Wishing you a day filled with appreciation, gratitude, and well-deserved recognition.

It was a pleasure to attend and support the 60th Annual VSW Pancake Breakfast this past Sunday in Batavia. I was proud to both assist and sponsor this long-standing community tradition that brings residents together for a great cause. Events like this are a great reminder of the strength of our community and the importance of giving back. Thank you to everyone who helped organize, volunteer, and attend. Your continued support ensures these meaningful traditions carry on for years to come.

Please join us for a great cause if you can! Proud to support and help spread awareness for the DuKane ABATE Motorcycle Awareness Day this Saturday, May 9th.

This event is a great reminder for all drivers to stay alert, share the road, and help keep our motorcyclists safe throughout our communities. Thank you to everyone involved in promoting rider safety and awareness.

There are two locations to be a part of: DuPage County and Kane County. See you from 11 until 1 PM.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health. In every community, there are individuals facing challenges we may not always see. Taking the time to check in, listen, and support one another can make a meaningful difference. No one should feel alone.

At the Kane County Sheriff’s Office, we are committed to supporting mental health through programs and partnerships that focus on care, intervention, and long-term success:

Mental Health Response & Crisis Intervention – Deputies trained to respond with compassion and connect individuals to appropriate services.

Jail-Based Mental Health Services – Access to evaluation, treatment, and support for individuals in custody.

Reentry & Reintegration Programs – Connecting individuals to community-based mental health resources to reduce recidivism and support stability after release.

Community Partnerships – Working alongside local providers and organizations to expand access to care and ensure coordinated responses.

In public safety, we see firsthand how critical mental health support is, not only for those we serve, but for our first responders as well. Prioritizing these resources helps build safer, stronger communities for everyone.

If you or someone you know needs help, please reach out, support is available, and there is strength in asking for it. 💚

It was an honor to attend the Everyday Heroes Breakfast hosted by Scouting America Three Fires Council this past Friday morning in Aurora. I could not be seated with women who exemplify leadership more- Kane County Coroner Monica Silva, Ward 2 Alderwoman Juany Garza, County Board District 6 Member, Sonia Garcia, Kane County Auditor (running for Kane County Treasurer) Penny Wegman, Honorable Judge Bianca Camargo, Kane County Circuit Clerk Theresa Barreiro, and Ward 10 Alderwoman Shweta Baid.

This event recognized individuals in our community who consistently go above and beyond in service to others. It was inspiring to be surrounded by people who exemplify leadership, compassion, and a commitment to making a difference every day. As I continue my campaign for Sheriff, it’s moments like this that reinforce why I’m running: to support, serve, and stand alongside those who dedicate themselves to building safer, stronger communities.

Thank you to everyone who made this event possible. It is a privilege to serve with so many outstanding individuals.
