Suisun City FD, Fairfield FD and Suisun PD currently working a vegetation fire in the 100 block of Railroad Ave cross of Birchwood Ct. Fire is currently contained and fire units will be on scene mopping up for the next hour. Please use caution in the area.

🔥 3-Alarm Structure Fire – Suisun City

Early this morning, Suisun City Fire crews responded to a reported structure fire in the 600 block of School Street. First-arriving crews reported a working fire with multiple structures involved and significant exposures.

Strong winds contributed to the rapid spread of the fire to additional buildings. Due to the size and complexity of the incident, the fire was upgraded to a 3-Alarm response. Firefighters worked for more than an hour to contain the fire and prevent further spread.

We are grateful for the tremendous support from our mutual aid partners, including Fairfield FD, Benicia FD, Vacaville FD, Travis AFB, and Vallejo FD, along with the Suisun City Police Department. Your assistance was instrumental in helping our crews manage this significant incident.

Firefighters remain on scene this morning conducting overhaul and assisting with the fire investigation.
Thank you to our firefighters, dispatchers, law enforcement partners, and mutual aid agencies for their outstanding response and teamwork. This is what mutual aid is all about. 🚒🤝

4th of July Recap

Thank you, Suisun City, for helping make this Independence Day a safer holiday!
On the 4th of July, the Suisun City Fire Department responded to:

🚑 10 Medical Calls
🤝 2 Public Assists
🔇 2 Non-Emergency Calls

Our Fire Prevention team also issued 2 fireworks citations as part of our efforts to keep our community safe.

Every safe celebration makes a difference. Thank you to everyone who chose to celebrate responsibly, reported unsafe activity and helped protect our neighborhoods.

We also want to thank our firefighters, dispatchers, law enforcement partners and mutual aid agencies who worked throughout the holiday to keep our community safe.

**FIREWORKS BOOTHS OPENING DAY**

🎆Fireworks booths officially opened today at 12 noon. All booths are operated by local non-profit organizations and support local youth programs so come on out and show your support!! Booths will be open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm through July 4.

Remember, only Safe and Sane fireworks purchased at any of these booths are legal in Suisun City.

🚒 Suisun City Fire Department – Illegal Fireworks Enforcement 🎆
As we approach the Fourth of July, the Suisun City Fire Department will be conducting enhanced surveillance and proactive code enforcement throughout the city to identify and address the use, possession, and sale of illegal fireworks.
Illegal fireworks pose a serious risk to our community, causing fires, injuries, and unnecessary strain on emergency responders. Violations are subject to a minimum $1,000 administrative fine.

****Residential Structure Fire (Late post) ****

At 9:42 pm last nite, SCFD responded to a report of a residential structure fire with fences on fire and possible houses on fire in the 900 block of Steller Drive. Fire units arrived to find a fence and contents on fire between two homes and the homes beginning to catch fire. The fire was upgraded to a 1st alarm and subsequently upgraded to a 2nd alarm. The crews were able to contain the fire and keep it from getting into the structures. We received mutual aid from Fairfield FD, Vacaville City FD, and Vallejo FD. There were no report of injuries. The fire is currently under investigation.
