Laker Louie is visiting YOUR library on July 22 at 6pm!

Author Lisa Shumard-Shelton will be visiting for a special reading of her book, "Cheers for Laker Louie," the sequel to her break-out hit, "High-Fives for Laker Louie." Along with Lisa, Louie will be making a special appearance to assist with the reading!

The first 25 attendees will receive a FREE copy of the "Cheers for Laker Louie" book as well as a FREE, exclusive Laker Louie keychain. Plus, attendees can scan their library's poster for the QR code to enter them for a chance to win a basket of Laker Louie swag which will be here the first part of June! While you're there, grab a Lake Land fidget toy! Scan the QR code on the poster and enter to win. Posters will be taken down, and winners will be drawn July 30 and announced on our social media pages.)

Join us for a relaxing and creative evening of diamond art at the library! 💎

In observance of Memorial Day, the Elizabeth Titus Memorial Library will be CLOSED on Monday, May 25, 2026.

As we enjoy the holiday weekend, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We will reopen with normal hours on Tuesday, May 26.

The Elizabeth Titus Memorial Library is thinking about starting a Diamond Art Club, and we’d love to see if there’s interest in the community!

Whether you’re already hooked on diamond painting or curious to try it for the first time, this would be a fun, relaxing group to create, chat, and craft together.

Possible activities include:

✨ Beginner-friendly sessions
✨ Sharing tips, tools & favorite kits
✨ Seasonal and themed projects
