City of Sullivan, Indiana Sullivan is a city in Hamilton Township, Sullivan County, Indiana, United States. Sullivan is a small, friendly city in Southwest Indiana.

It was established in 1852. We are conveniently located on U.S. Hwy 41, 25 miles south of Terre Haute, Indiana and 25 miles north of Vincennes, Indiana. Sullivan city is the county seat of Sullivan County. Our Motto is "Take Time to Care" and our citizens are proving everyday that they are living that motto. Championship Night is almost here! ⚾🏆

Congratulations to Cabin Cuts Salon and Local 841 for earning their spots in the Sullivan Baseball League 12U Championship Game on Tuesday, June 16 at 6:30 p.m.

After a season of hard work, dedication, and great competition, these two teams will meet for the league title. We invite the community to come out, support these young athletes, and help create a great atmosphere for an exciting evening of baseball.

Coach Derrick DeMoss said:

“Championship games are always special, and we’re facing a very well coached team that has earned the opportunity to be here. We have a lot of respect for them and what they’ve accomplished.

I’ve been fortunate to coach a lot of kids over the years, and honestly, they’re all family to me. Whether they’re on this team, a past team, or a future team, I want what’s best for them not just in baseball, but in life. I push them because I care about them and because I want them to understand that hard work, accountability, and perseverance matter.

People probably think coaching is about teaching baseball, but it’s really about building relationships and helping kids grow. These players have changed my life just as much as I’ve hopefully impacted theirs. The wins and losses will eventually be forgotten, but the memories, friendships, and lessons learned along the way will last forever.

At the end of the day, if these kids become good people, good fathers, good husbands, and productive members of their communities, that’s the real championship. Tuesday's game is about competing, having fun, and making memories they’ll carry with them for the rest of their lives.”

Congratulations to the Sullivan High School Golden Arrows Baseball Team! ⚾🏆 They took home their first regional championship since 1991!

📅 Semi-State Semi-Finals will take place at 2 p.m. this Saturday, June 13th at Lawrence Central.

If the Arrows win the semi-finals they will play again at 8 p.m. for the Semi-State Championship!
