We are just 4 weeks away from the Moultrie County First Responder Softball Game on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Crowder Park in Bethany, Illinois!
Week 5 of highlighting the dedicated first responders who proudly serve Moultrie County. Today, we're featuring the Sullivan Illinois Police Department.
Operating from their department headquarters at 307 South Van Buren Street, the Sullivan Illinois Police Department provides around-the-clock public safety services and serves as a visible and trusted presence throughout the community. Their officers respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, conduct proactive patrols, assist with traffic safety and enforcement, investigate incidents, and work to maintain safe neighborhoods for residents, businesses, and visitors.
Beyond daily law enforcement responsibilities, the department plays an important role in building relationships within the community through professionalism, service, and community engagement. In a department of this size, officers often serve in many roles—responding to calls, supporting investigations, assisting motorists, and being available when residents need help.

Thank you for supporting our local first responders and schools. We look forward to seeing everyone at Crowder Park on July 18th!
