JUNE ARTIST OF THE MONTH: Hugo Diaz
Local Artist | Neuromuscular Disease Fighter

Retired in 2008, Hugo wanted to develop his skills and knowledge through his art. He finds joy in capturing and inspiring portraits of people and their stories. Many may recognize his work from a collection display at Sumner Library Commons, known as "The Community Makers," which displays portraits of local community members.

In this month's display, there are 3 portrait studies, two of which are studies for a collection called Maine Harvest, in honor of migrant workers who work in the blueberry fields… - to learn more, come stop by the library and view the wonderful pieces of work.

We will be OPEN TODAY 8:30am - 11am. The Shed is full of Used items all FREE. If you struggle with getting enough food please stop by. We can help. We are getting excited for THE BIGGEST CHINESE AUCTION EVER Fundraiser. Items are still coming in and include: A Boat and Trailer, 15 ft Pool, Paintings from Our Local Artists, Two Bikes, Gift Baskets, Gift Certificates, and so much more! Will be posting lists of what is available as the Auction Date gets closer!!!! July 18th is the date. The Auction starts at 8am and runs until 1pm. Drawing starts right after the auction closing at 1pm. You do not need to be present to win...This is a great chance to support the Pantry who is now supporting over 700 families.
