Just like that it looks like nothing ever happened at the Liberty Township Fire Station. What takes four to five days to set up comes down in a matter of hours and is packed away for another year.

We would like to say a big Thank You to everyone who came out and supported us over the last two days. If it was not for you we could not do what we do.

We would also like to Thank all of the volunteers who came and helped, if you served, set up tents, cooked, participated in the car show or helped with the cleanup this morning we appreciate everything you did!

Finally, and most importantly, we would like to Thank Tonya Geiger. Tonya dedicates more hours than we could begin to imagine to place orders and prepare almost all of the food, organize the army of volunteers who make it all happen and without her we could not hold this event every year!

Thank You again everyone for making this happen and we will see you again in 2027!

Despite his attempts to avoid the spotlight, tonight we took a moment to honor Chief Rick Harley for his 50 years of service to Liberty Township. Rick joined our department at just 16 years old and received his first fire certificate two years later. Rick is a pillar of our community, and his influence has left a lasting mark on our department.

Dinner is served!! We've got the best pork and beef sandwiches around, macaroni and potato salad, Phil's amazing baked beans and even Bobs jalapeno eggs. Stop on out to the 2026 Liberty Township Fireman's Festival.
