Indeed already 10 years ago when we installed this system at Seabreeze. Digested manure goes in, and then the process creates three streams: bedding fiber, clarified water and nutrient-rich solids. Trident’s technology fundamentally changed how the farm is able to utilize its resources. This dairy demonstrates regenerative farming every day. The fiber is reused as bedding in the stalls, the low-nutrient effluent water is recycled for alley flush and field irrigation, the nutrient cake is used on the land to improve crop production. There are several other benefits, from cleaner lagoons with substantial GHG emission reductions to more efficient storage and transportation.

For primary separation of coarse manure solids we typically recommend two options: The rotary screen and screw press combo is ideal for farms that plan to produce high quality bedding material. And it’s also suitable for flush or dilute manure slurry.

A simpler option is to process the manure directly with a screw press. This setup offers the benefit of lower equipment cost and requires less space. We offer four different TSP Screw Press models to suit a wide range of farm sizes. The TSP-1000 model features a robust 10HP motor and can process approx. 25,000 GPD.
