📚Certified by the State of Alabama in the appropriate area.
📚Must meet highly qualified status as determined by Alabama State Department of Education.
📚Must meet background clearance requirements as specified by Alabama statutes and State Board of Education regulations.

💙🐾💛 SES Report Card Pickup 💙🐾💛

⭐️ Report cards were sent home with students in attendance on Wednesday, May 20th, and/or Thursday, May 21st.

⭐️ Parents may also pick up report cards at the school on the following dates and times:
• Thursday, May 21st, 8:00–11:30 a.m.
• Friday, May 22nd, 8:00–11:30 a.m.
• Tuesday, May 26th; Wednesday, May 27th; and Thursday, May 28th, from 8:00–11:30 a.m. or 1:00–3:00 p.m.

🇺🇸 Reminder: We will be closed on Monday, May 25th, in observance of Memorial Day.

📣 Please don’t forget to stop by and check for your child’s lost items. We currently have several large bags at our front entrance filled with unclaimed belongings waiting to be picked up. 👕🧥

🗓️ You are welcome to come look through the lost and found at any time.

Also, don’t forget to stop by to pick up your child’s report card on Wednesday, May 27th or Thursday, May 28th from 8:00–11:30 a.m. or 1:00–3:00 p.m.

📚 New Student Registration for the 2026–2027 School Year is NOW OPEN! 🎉 Kindergarten through 4th grade.

Registration is for NEW students who will be attending Sumiton Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

⚠️ This is NOT for returning students or students who have already registered for the 2026–2027 school year.
