Grant opportunity for teachers!!

TEACHERS APPLY TODAY! Baldwin EMC is excited to offer the Operation Round Up Star Light Award, an educational grant program designed to support teachers with innovative and creative classroom lessons or projects that enhance student learning.

Pre-K–12 teachers at accredited public and private schools within the Baldwin EMC service area are eligible to apply. Your school does not have to receive electricity from Baldwin EMC to participate.

The application is attached to this email. Please note:

Applications must be typed and completed in full.
Requested documentation must be included.
Handwritten or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Application deadline: September 18, 2026.

Completed applications may be returned to any Baldwin EMC office or mailed to:

Before students walk through the doors next week, our community is already showing up for them.

This week, the Palm Project volunteers packed and prepared 197 boxes of essential supplies for distribution to 43 public schools in Baldwin County, ensuring that school-based care closets are stocked and ready to meet students' needs from the very first day of school.

For many students, these supplies mean more than just basic necessities—they provide confidence, dignity, and the opportunity to focus on learning.

None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors, sponsors, grant partners, and community supporters who continue to invest in Baldwin County students through the Palm Project.

🍎 What a great way to kick off a new school year!

The Baldwin County Education Coalition was excited to join Baldwin County Public Schools this morning at the Annual Teacher Institute in Foley. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and welcome our incredible educators back as they prepare to welcome students into their classrooms next week.

Our prize wheel was a huge hit—we gave away so many fun prizes that we completely ran out in just 30 minutes! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to spin the wheel, say hello, and learn more about the Coalition.

To all of our Baldwin County teachers, thank you for the passion, dedication, and heart you bring to your students every day. Your work makes a lasting difference in our schools and our community, and we are grateful for all you do.

We wish each of you an amazing school year filled with inspiration, growth, and success. Here's to a fantastic 2026–2027 school year! 💙📚
