Nani had our World of Wings audience saying, “WOW!” 🦜✨

Our young visitors from Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara got to meet the Sanctuary’s Avian Ambassadors and learned about their origins and natural habitats. 🌎They even built bird toys to gift to their new feathered friends!

Learning, creativity, and lots of WOW moments! 💛

The assistant to the regional manager is assisting managerial activities. Babu routinely oversees food prep while jamming to his favorite radio show 😎
He makes sure everybody gets their share of: banana, strawberry, blueberry, melons, vegetables, leafy greens, broccoli, beans, carrots, rice, millet, nut butter sandwiches, and nuts!

💛 Sydney Update! 💛

Thank you all for the incredible love you’ve shown our newest resident, Sydney. Your kind words and support have meant so much as she’s settled into sanctuary life.

We’re happy to report that Sydney is making lots of new feathered and human friends and is becoming more comfortable with each passing day. She’s discovering that life here comes with plenty of love, enrichment… and the occasional spa day! 🛁✨

Today was an absolute scorcher, so Sydney decided it was the perfect time for a refreshing shower. 🚿 She made sure we didn’t miss a single feather, enthusiastically soaking up every drop and clearly loving every minute of her Sunday spa treatment!
