Memorial Day we remember.

Happy Memorial Day from WVU 4-H!

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. As 4-H’ers, we are reminded of our pledge—“I pledge my heart to larger service”—and the importance of giving back to our communities in meaningful ways.

We are grateful for the sacrifices made for our freedom and the legacy of service they inspire. ❤️

Tell us how you're recognizing service and sacrifice in your community this Memorial Day in the comments.

Sponsor a Youth for 4‑H County Camp!

4‑H County Camp will be held June 15–19 as an overnight camp for youth ages 9–18. Campers participate in classes and assemblies, are organized into tribes to complete team challenges, explore new skills, express creativity, and build lifelong friendships.

Help a Nicholas County youth experience an unforgettable summer at 4‑H County Camp.

The cost to attend camp is $100 per youth. Your sponsorship can make it possible for a young person to attend who might not otherwise have the opportunity.

If you are interested in sponsoring a Nicholas County youth, please contact the Nicholas County Extension Office at 304-872-7898 x 11 or email [email protected] for more information.

Thank you for supporting local youth and helping create meaningful summer experiences through 4‑H.

May the 4-H be with you! 🍀
