Here are the dates and meeting schedule for February. Several people have asked and so I have included one Saturday meeting:

Thursday Feb. 9th at 1pm:
Roundtable and training, “Using FamilyTree Software.”
I will cover the use of Family Tree Maker software (several people have asked for this) and the general discussion at the end.

Possible Saturday meetings.

I have been asked, by a couple of people, if we could repeat some of the meetings on a Saturday for those who cannot attend on Thursday.

REMINDER: There is a lecture tomorrow Thursday 26th at the Dorchester County Library on Old Trolley Road. It starts at 1pm

The subject is "Review of Web sites used for Genealogy Research". I will cover free sites and well as pay for sites and give you some clues to improve the effectiveness of your research.

Free stuff this weekend!!!! There's FREE access to Census and BMD records at Findmypast this weekend, and LostCousins is also totally FREE until Monday - so it's a great opportunity to knock down 'brick walls'. What a great way to start 2017!
