I’m Running!

Dear Friends,

You know I’ve helped guard the families, faith, and freedoms of the Lowcountry for the last 30 years as a law enforcement professional. I’ve risen in the ranks from patrolman to assistant chief. I graduated from the prestigious FBI National Academy and have been involved in all aspects of keeping people safe, both on our streets and on school campuses here in Dorchester County.

Unfortunately, the strides we’ve made in making Dorchester County a safer place to work, live, and raise a family have been steadily eroding over the past 12 years under the current sheriff. I know we can do better.

That’s why after prayerful consideration and long talks with family, I’m writing to INFORM YOU OF MY CANDIDACY FOR DORCHESTER COUNTY SHERIFF.

It’s a big challenge. And I need your help.

I’ve been blessed to call Summerville home for nearly 44 years. This is where I met my wife, started our family, and chose to raise our two daughters so they could enjoy the same quality of life and learn the same values we learned growing up here.

But now, those values are under increasing attack both from criminals and radical extremists. Illegal immigrants flout laws enacted to keep our communities safe, while socialists are trying to undermine the very fabric of our American way of life. And closer to home, the current sheriff has shut down our local law enforcement substations.

This isn’t political rhetoric. Just watch the evening news and see for yourself. The threats are real, and they must be met by real solutions.

That’s why I’m running, to guard the families, faith, and freedoms of our citizens. Your sheriff should do more than simply uphold the law. As a leader in Dorchester County, he must also defend the things that matter the most to us.

But making that happens first means winning the upcoming election. And that takes more than your best wishes. It takes money. A lot of money, in fact.
