It is with heavy hearts that we have learned of the passing of Retired Summerville Police Chief Stan Mosley.

Stan was more than a colleague—he was a trusted friend and a dedicated member of the public safety family. Over the years, we stood alongside him in service, working together to make a difference in the lives of those we were called to help. He was an exceptional leader, known for his humility, kindness, and unwavering commitment both on and off duty.

Stan’s impact will be felt for generations to come. While we mourn his loss, we also find comfort in knowing he is now at peace, made whole, and in the arms of the Lord.

Chattooga County EMA/E-911 extends our deepest condolences to the Mosley family. We are truly grateful for the time we shared with Stan and honored to have walked this path beside him.
