Elect John Agnew for School Board My name is John Agnew. I am running for School Board in Chattooga County. I served my country in the U.S.

My family has been a part of Chattooga County since the early 1800's, moving into the Alpine area near Menlo, Georgia. John Agnew, Sr., my grandfather, was the field manager over most of the agricultural and dairy production at Reigal Textiles in the early & mid 1900's My father was Frank Agnew who owned and operated Farmer's Supply Store in Summervile for many years. ah Myers, a prominent citizen, school teacher, and historian in the Trion community. Air Force as a radio technician during the Vietnam era for 3 1/2 years from 1965 until 1969. Afterwards, I completed a degree in Business Administration at Shorter University, Rome,Georgia, majoring in economics and receiving the Wall Street Journal Award for scholastic achievement. As a business entrepreneur, I started my own Landscape Company in 1987 which I managed for over 25 years. As a very profitable company it was sold in 2014 and is operational today in several counties in North Georgia. As a lifetime resident of Chattooga County, I have always been involved with church and community organizations as North Georgia Pregnancy Care Center, and the Chattooga County Republican Party.
