It is with profound sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Summit Hill Borough Council President David Wargo. David dedicated more than a decade of service to the residents of Summit Hill, serving his community with unwavering commitment, compassion, and pride. He was elected Council President in 2024 and continued to lead the borough with dedication and integrity. Throughout his years on council, David worked tirelessly to improve our community, address the concerns of residents, and preserve the character and history of the town he loved.

David’s service was never about recognition—it was about helping others and making Summit Hill a better place for future generations. His leadership, knowledge, and willingness to serve will leave a lasting impact on our borough.

On behalf of the Borough, we extend our deepest condolences to David’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of public service and devotion to Summit Hill will not be forgotten.

Rest in peace, David. Thank you for serving your community with heart and soul. ❤️

“A life dedicated to service leaves a legacy that lives on in the community it touched.”

📢 Public Notice – Sewer Line Improvement Project 📢

Residents may notice some temporary effects as work continues on the sewer line improvement project over the next several weeks.

During this time, you may experience occasional gurgling sounds in toilets, sinks, and/or drains as the sewer system is being cleaned and maintained. These conditions are normal and expected during the project.

As a precaution, residents are encouraged to keep toilet lids closed when not in use throughout the duration of the work.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these important improvements are completed. This project will help maintain and improve the reliability of our sewer infrastructure for the community.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Borough Office.

Thank you for your understanding. 🚧🔧
