This morning at 11:00 units were dispatched to a reported structure fire in lake wynonah, with a crew at the station Squad 34-55 (Engine 34-15) was on the street immediately. Squad arrived to find a tree on fire with very minor extension to the deck, the call was scaled back and units cleared shortly after.

14:00 34FP were dispatched to 443/183 for traffic control.

18:45 Captain 34-95 alerted the crew at station to a working vehicle fire on 183 just up from the firehouse, Squad 34-55 (Engine 34-15) and Buggy 34 went responding and arrived as dispatch was ending.

45 years ago - Saturday, May 30, 1981 at 2PM, the Summit Station Fire Company hosted a parade and dedication for the company's Spartan/Car-Mar pumper-tanker. Retired Pottsville Fire Chief Andy Hoke was master of ceremonies. Rev. Herbert B. Mobley dedicated the truck. Company President at the time was Wilbert Staller.

Early Monday morning the Officers and Members of Squad Company 34 welcomed home the new to us Rescue Squad 34. The rescue is a 2002 E-One with a Saulsbury walk in rescue body. It started its life with FDNY Rescue 2. In 2017 it was restored/refurbed by SVI Trucks to be used for Laramie County Fire District #1 in Cheyenne, Wyoming as their heavy rescue. Over the next several weeks the members will be mounting equipment and getting it ready to be put in service.

5/08/26 @ 09:11 The Squad Company was dispatched to the 3500 Block of Mountain Road in Upper Berne Township, Berks County, to the Amazon Warehouse for a commercial fire. Berks County units were dispatched for an AFA and arrived to a working fire. While the Squad was responding to the scene command reported that they had a good knock on the fire. The Squad arrived and sent its crew to manpower staging and was then directed to the 4th floor to stand by there. No services were needed from the Squad crew and we cleared the scene as command scaled the incident back. Squad was on scene for about 45 minutes.

Shortly before 3pm yesterday Squad 34-55 & Tanker 34-36 were dispatched to Tilden Twp Berks County to assist at a second alarm barn fire. Tanker dumped one 4,000 gallon load of water and was then released while the Squad crew assisted with overhaul. A crew of 8 responded.
