At 3:01pm the Western Lakes Fire District, Village of Summit Police Department, and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources responded to a UTV accident on Sugar Island in the Village of Summit. This incident has resulted in the serious injuries to a child, and it is currently under active investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. At this time, no further information is available. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the injured child during this difficult time.
