This weekend, I revamped Lisa's Little Free Library and filled it with fresh books, new bookmarks, and dog biscuits. I added in some flashcards as well. We had donations from multiple people that included friends, coworkers and their family members, Indiana Donor Network, and my own auction finds. Inside the library, I also found a painted rock that looked like Mr Potato Head. I hope someone enjoys it, super cute! Please stop by and grab some books, flashcards, a bookmark or two, and some dog treats! My mom would be so proud of her little library 💓📚

I've been working a lot lately, and because of that, I have failed to check the library for a few weeks. But I just brought some new books and treats up today. In honor of our namesake's grand dog who celebrated her birthday Monday, May 18th, I brought some birthday dog biscuits. Chessie says thank you to everyone who visits her Granny's library 🩷🐾

Today was an exciting day at the library.. for the first time, we had enough space from books that had been taken that we got to add new books! We also left some 2026 mini calendars and added some more dog treats ❤️ someone had also left some new books as well! Such a fun, exciting day in Sumner! And a beautiful day to stop by, grab a book, and enjoy the sunshine 🌞

Attention Sumner and Lawrence County residents! I'd like to invite you to stop by Lisa's Little Free Library in downtown Sumner in the memorial park just south of The Shack on Christy Ave. My mom, Lisa Wells, a longtime Sumner resident, passed away 1 year ago today but not before giving the gift of life to 2 others through kidney donation. I wanted to do something meaningful and to continue her legacy on the anniversary of her passing. Mom loved children and reading, and I thought what better way to honor her than to combine the two!

Please stop by with your kids or for yourself, as I have the library filled with books for all ages, along with bookmarks. And bring your furbaby; no library would be complete without a dog treat box too! Please take a book, share a book, and just enjoy the little library! I'm confident every time that door opens and someone enjoys reading a new book, my mom is beaming with pride 📚🩷😊
