Thank you for your many years of dedication, service, and commitment to our students, staff, and school community. Your kindness, compassion, and unwavering support have made a lasting impact on countless lives. The positive influence you have had on generations of students will not be forgotten.

As you begin this exciting new chapter, know that you will be greatly missed. We are grateful for all you have given and wish you happiness, good health, and many wonderful adventures in retirement.

Today, we celebrated our amazing 8th graders as they completed 3 years at SMS and are preparing to take the next step in their educational journey.

It was a day filled with pride, memories, laughter, and reflection as we recognized their accomplishments, growth, and the positive impact they have made on our school community. Over the years, these students have learned, led, persevered, and created lasting friendships that will stay with them for years to come.

The day started off with the 8th grade assembly. Our wonderful Boosters then gifted each student with a t-shirt and donut. As if that wasn't enough, next came the handing out of the yearbooks! We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them and excited to see all they will achieve in high school and beyond. Congratulations, 8th graders! 👏✨

We had our final band concert of the school year, and what a wonderful way to end the season! Our students sounded fantastic and showcased all of the hard work, dedication, and growth they have achieved throughout the year. Last week, our 8th-grade students had the exciting opportunity to visit Sumner High School and get a glimpse of their future as Spartans! During the tour, students explored the campus, learned about academic and extracurricular opportunities, and became familiar with the school environment they will soon call home.

The visit helped ease the transition to high school while building excitement for the next chapter in their educational journey. We are proud of our students and look forward to seeing all they accomplish as they prepare for this important milestone.✨

The production of Annie last week was a tremendous success! Our sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade students delivered a truly wonderful performance, showcasing their incredible talent, dedication, and hard work. From the outstanding acting and singing to the impressive stage presence and teamwork, every student played an important role in bringing this beloved musical to life.

Today’s Senior Walk was more than a tradition—it was a celebration of every challenge overcome, every lesson learned, and every dream that lies ahead. The halls were filled with pride, joy, and a few tears as our seniors took their final walk through the place that helped shape who they are.

With each step, they carried memories of friendships, accomplishments, laughter, and growth. The smiles reflected how far they’ve come, while the tears reminded us how meaningful this journey has been.

Whether you dressed up, cheered on your classmates, or simply enjoyed the fun, Spirit Week brought our school community together in the best way.
