My Dredge, Past, Present and Future.

My Dredge, Past, Present and Future. History meets Passion and they created Purpose. The last of three Yuba-style gold dredges, this one sits where it finished working in 1954.

It was sinking and in bad shape when Oregon Parks and Recreation purchased the dredge and about 70 acres of land to go with it back in 1998. A group of concerned residents formed Friends of The Dredge, Inc. The group no longer exists, but at the time, had joined the State to raise funds to restore and preserve the Dredge. With the group no longer in existence please contact Oregon State Parks directly, if you have any desire to donate.
